There’s something quite special about the Air Zoom Pegasus 39 from Nike. From its stylish look, to the cushioning and comfort it offers – I’m absolutely in love with this shoe! Having worn a lot of different trainers over my time, I was curious to try out the Pegasus 39 for myself. I wanted to find out whether it lives up to all that hype. As someone who loves both fashion and running, this shoe promises great performance as well as style; something which most other athletic shoes cannot provide. Read on to find out more details why this shoe is worth every penny!
Overview of the Shoe
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 is a top-of-the-line running shoe that offers optimal comfort and support. It features Nike React technology in the midsole, Zoom Air units for added cushioning and responsiveness, an ergonomic upper design, and a lightweight construction. As a result, the Pegasus 39 is an ideal shoe for running long distances on a variety of terrain.
I’ve been running for over a decade now. And I’ve always put my trust in Nike when it comes to footwear. The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 is one of the most popular running shoes on the market right now. As a runner, I was excited to try them out for myself and see if they live up to the hype. After testing out these running shoes for the past three months, I have to say that I am very impressed with what I’ve experienced.
Midsoles (Nike React Technology)
The midsoles of the Pegasus 39 are crafted with Nike React technology. That provides superior cushioning and energy return capabilities. This unique foam technology is lightweight yet highly responsive. So that runners can achieve optimal performance without compromising comfort. The midsole also features a curved sole to help guide feet through their natural gait cycle, creating a smoother run.
Zoom Air Units
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 features two Zoom Air units that are located in the heel and forefoot for enhanced cushioning and shock absorption. These air units provide responsive energy return as well as greater protection against impact forces during longer runs. This helps to reduce fatigue so you can keep pushing forward even after miles on end.
Upper Design
The upper design of the Pegasus 39 is optimized for maximum comfort and breathability. It features Fly wire cables along the sides to provide secure lockdown while offering flexibility to move naturally through your stride. The seamless one-piece material ensures there are no distractions or areas where moisture can accumulate during runs, keeping feet dry and comfortable all day long.
Weight of Model
One of the best things about the Pegasus 39 is its incredibly lightweight – it only weighs 8 ounces! This makes it easy to wear all day without feeling weighed down, which is perfect if you’re planning on taking on longer distances like half marathons or 10Ks. Its lightweight construction won’t make you feel like you’re carrying any extra baggage during your run either, allowing you to focus more on your performance than exhaustion from extra weight in your shoes.
Total Comfort of Shoe
In addition to its lightweight construction, the Pegasus 39 also offers optimal comfort with its combination of Nike Reacts foam cushioning and two Zoom Air units at key areas in the shoe’s midsole and outsole respectively. This helps ensure that runners experience exceptional cushioning while still getting enough stability to perform at their best each time they hit the pavement or track. On top of that, its seamless upper keeps moisture away from feet while its Fly wire cables provide an adjustable fit so users don’t have to worry about slipping off or blisters after long periods of use either.
Nike Air Max 270 vs Air Zoom Pegasus 39
Nike’s range of athletic footwear is designed to offer the most innovative and breathable materials for athletes who are looking for maximum performance and comfort on the go. When it comes to running shoes, two of Nike’s best models are the Air Zoom Pegasus 39 and the Air Max 270. Both shoes feature impressive technologies that can help you get through any training session with ease, including a lightweight cushioning system, lockdown support, and a soft foam midsole to absorb shocks from uneven terrain.
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 is a great running shoe for those who are looking for a comfortable, lightweight option that still provides plenty of support. The Pegasus 39 has a full-length Zoom Air unit in the forefoot for responsive cushioning, as well as a plush foam midsole for added comfort. The shoe also features a breathable mesh upper and sturdy cables for a secure fit.
In comparison to the Nike Air Max 270, the Pegasus 39 is a bit more lightweight and responsive, due to the Zoom Air unit in the forefoot. The 270 has a larger airbag in the heel for more cushioning, but it doesn’t provide as much energy return or support in the forefoot. The Pegasus 39 also has a more breathable upper, making it a better choice for hot weather runs.
What I Didn’t Like About The Model
Despite being a fantastic pair of running shoes overall, there were a few downsides to them as well – namely their lack of grip on wetter surfaces such as grassy roads after rain showers (so make sure you take extra caution if you plan on using them on wet surfaces). Moreover, although they provide great shock absorption while running, walking or hiking on pavements etc., they do not offer much protection against rocks and other debris. So if you plan on doing activities off-road then it would be more convenient to look for something else instead as these shoes may not be suitable for those kinds of terrains and activities due to their lack of grip and protection provided by their sole cushioning system. Whereas in comparison to other models made specifically for off-road use where more traction may be needed instead!
Conclusion
In conclusion, after wearing my Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39‘s over the course of 3 months – I can easily say that they exceeded my expectations in terms of comfortability, responsiveness & stability provided by their midsoles (Nike React technology). Overall comfort thanks to their plush cushioning along with breathable upper materials helping keep foot temperatures at an optimal level. However there were some negatives such as lack of grip on wetter surfaces & protection against rocks etc., which could be an issue depending on what kind of activities/terrain one plans on using these shoes for – otherwise these are some fantastic shoes for everyday use & highly recommended by me personally!
