What is the Boost Midsole?

We would summarize it as definitely the most popular midsole and delivering the highest quality. Same as in the case of most famous Adidas Ultraboost series, here you may find it as well. It is a revolutionary cushioning technology developed by Adidas. It consists of thousands of foam capsules that are compressed together to provide superior cushioning and energy return. The Boost midsole provides superior cushioning, making it ideal for long-distance running. The midsole also provides superior stability and responsiveness, making it a great choice for those who are looking for a comfortable running shoe.

When testing it on some 50 miles, our tester confirmed that the model of Adidas Ultraboost 5.0 DNA felt greatly balanced. Not too soft, not too firm. But most of all perfectly responsive. The truth is that it is nothing new below the sun. A model that offers some same responsiveness as the other Adidas running shoes that have the same kind midsole.

Advantages of the Boost Midsole

You will especially appreciate it for long-distance running but also for intense gym workouts. The foam capsules compress together and create a spring-like effect that provides superior comfort. The Boost midsole also provides superior stability, making it an excellent choice for those who are looking for a supportive running shoe. We found the Boost midsole to be perfectly comparable to the PWRRUN midsole that you may find in Saucony Guide 13. Even though the model is already a bit older, it is also cheaper. And thus, more affordable than the overpriced Adidas Ultraboost 5.0 DNA

The Continental outer sole wears very fast exposing the boost midsole. Mine lasted less than six months with only mild 15 mins jogs a few times a week. Not good for a £125 trainer.
I’m now running on Nike Pegasus 39. Might not be so bouncy, but more durable.

I agree, great shoe. I love everything about it, except for the sole. I had mine about 3 months (250-300 miles) be for the Continental sole wore out causing the boost midsole to be exposed and damaged. Extremely unfortunate because these are the most comfortable running shoes I’ve had. As far as comfort, more superior over Brooks.
