New Balance

The story of New Balance started to be written since the beginning of the 20th century, in 1906. Originally American shoes company, was established by an English William J. Railey in Boston. Before starting the company, Railey was a producer of complementary arch support for workers who had to stand long hours at their jobs. In 1934, the arch support making company turned to production of the first sneakers and it has been steadily gaining popularity over the years until these days.

Now its headquarter is still located in Boston. The company plays an important role in the whole US market and other European countries. The company is quite unusual compared to other sportwear companies. Those moved their factories to China, Vietnam and other SE Asian countries. New Balance factories and production exclusively remain in the US. Even though our reviewing website focuses solely on New Balance in connection to running shoes, it not only focuses on sneakers. It makes many other different products, such as fashion sneakers, sports clothing, bags and accessories so that it forms a huge part of both men’s and women’s sportswear and plays an important role in their lifestyle.
